Francois exceeded every expectation. From the moment we walked in, the service was outstanding and the food was absolutely incredible. The shrimp and grits were hands-down the best I’ve ever had. The chicken and waffles were perfectly balanced with just the right mix of sweet and savory. The crawfish étouffée was rich, flavorful, and authentic, and the fried chicken sandwich was cooked to perfection. And let’s talk about the Brussels sprouts—order your own! One bite and you won’t want to share. They were that good. What made the experience even more special was that the chef personally came out to make sure we were enjoying our meal. That’s the kind of hospitality you don’t forget. In fact, the food was so amazing I joked that I wanted to bring her home with us! If you’re looking for incredible food, exceptional service, and an unforgettable dining experience, Francois is a must-visit.

10 out of 10 Highly Recommend!! My sister and I dined with our daughters after attending a "That Girl" event. Service was wonderful by Trey, the food was delicious and the esthetics were smooth. It is quaint, personable and the variety is endless. My Sister and I will return from Folsom Louisiana with our spouses because the vibes did not miss. All staff was attentive, personable and it is family owned and operated, which my sister and I can appreciate because we assist our dad with our family business as well. A TREAT INDEED!!

Absolutely LOVED EVERYTHING ABOUT THIS PLACE!! Tre waited on my family of 7. He was so kind, patient, and informative. The food was TOP TIER!!! The fried green onions, and all 4 of the appetizers we had were PHENOMENAL! EVERYTHING was flavorful and made by Tre's mom. There's nothing like supporting a great family owned business! The warm charming family atmosphere was also great. 100 out of 10 - I recommend!

Trey was an amazing server very attentive and extremely knowledgeable about the menu. I wasn’t sure what I wanted, but he made excellent recommendations that did not disappoint. We started with the appetizer sampler platter, which included fried green tomatoes, hot honey lemon pepper wings, and kicking shrimp (similar to bang bang shrimp). Everything came out fresh, hot, and full of flavor. For our entrées, we ordered the Honey Glazed Salmon with shrimp, served with creamy spinach over a bed of dirty rice, and the 10oz Hawaiian Ribeye with creamy spinach and loaded smothered potatoes. Every dish was fantastic and prepared exactly as requested. Outstanding service and great food highly recommend!

I have seen pictures and reviews of François Tavern and this was the first time we went brought my brother and his friend from Virginia. Food was excellent service was great my brother's friend from Virginia said that he He is coming back to New Orleans in October with his wife and they will make the drive to Laplace to eat here. Five stars food was excellent.

Tina the owner and her son Trey were working and from the moment we walked in we were greeted and then Tina came over to explain the menu and answer questions since everything is made fresh. My wife and I got the sampler platter with garlic Parmesan wings, fried green tomatoes and shrimp that is better than bang bang shrimp. And we got the Maryland crab cake. The food came out quickly and everything was made fresh, it was hot and delicious. I go go into all the details about how good it was, but you just need to come meet Tina and Trey and let them change your life. Thank you for putting so much love into everything about this place. If we are ever traveling through again we will be back!
